Instructions

  1. How to Fence Tomatoes in a Garden

    • 1

Measure the fencing to make two 30" x 60" columns.

    • 2

Lay the fencing on the ground, and cut it to the measurements.

    • 3

Roll one of the pieces into a column that stands 60" tall and is as wide as the perimeter wire will allow.

    • 4

Take two wood stakes and weave them into any two wire openings on the bottom layer. This is to secure the column in the ground. It is best to space these stakes out as much as possible.

    • 5

Stand the column up, and hammer the stakes into the soil where the column will stand next to the tomato plant.

    • 6

Tie the plant to the column. This step is necessary only if the plant is already large and needs additional support. Most plants will weave themselves into the column on their own.
