Using round rings to hang your curtains is not only relatively easy, but the rings also make your curtain treatment look a bit more stylish. Curtain rings come in an array of sizes and finishes, in everything from wood to metal. Some rings have attached clamps, which make installing them on the curtain quite easy. Those without, will have to be inserted through precut holes in the curtain.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Measuring Tape Pins Chalk
  1. Step 1

Measure the top width of your curtain so you will know how many round rings you will need to hang it properly. Round curtain rings usually come in packages that contain approximately six round rings per package.

  2. Step 2

Divide your length measurement by how far you would like to space your round rings apart from each other, to figure out how many rings are required. For example, if your curtain measures 108 inches long and you want to place the rings six inches apart, divide six into 108 and you will need 18 round rings.

  3. Step 3

Starting at the end of your curtain, measure out and mark the spot for each ring with either a pin or chalk. Remember, you will be attaching a ring on both ends of the curtain.

  4. Step 4

Clip a ring onto every marked area on your curtain top. Make sure you slip the clamp onto the fabric as far as it will go so it does not come loose. Continue clipping the round rings to the curtain, making sure to keep the measured space between each.

  5. Step 5

Remove the end on the curtain rod and slip the round rings onto it. Replace the rod end, once you have the rings on it so the curtains do not slip off. Straighten your curtains by spacing the rings out on the rod.
