How to Decorate a Frog Themed Nursery
Decorating a nursery with a frog theme is not difficult. A frog theme can be quaintly pretty and very amusing when used on a nursery wall. Frogs call to mind playful amphibians sitting peacefully on lily pads. This is not a bad idea for a child's room. Does this Spark an idea?

Begin by painting a frog mural on the wall. A frog mural should be playful and quaint. Look for ideas that capture the amphibian sitting in a pond staring at the nursery. Ask a friend to paint one for you if you don't know how to do so. Add other aspects of the mural such as additional fish, trees and other items to make the mural complete.

Use a frog stencil on the walls. A frog stencil can add a playful and amsuing touch to any decor. Create a frog stencil using light green paint, dark green paint and ribbons to link the frogs to each other. Add in pink crowns on the top of the frogs as well as princess figures kissing the frogs on the nursery for an amusing touch.

Purchase bed linens. You should be able to find bed linens with a frog pattern. Use the bed linens on the child's crib mattress as well as on any furniture in the room such as rocking chairs and linens to cover the walls. Look for patterns that have small frogs as well as bigger frogs. Look for linens that also have interesting backgrounds on them to capture the attention of small babies.

Decorate the room in a complimentary theme. Use shades of light green and dark green on the walls as well as shades of brown to make the room look like it appears to be in a forest. Place blue rugs on the floor to mimic the feel of being in a pond. Use soft shades of brown to paint furniture complimentary shades that call to mind being at the shore.
