This is a simple recipe we made in winter time when it snowed in North Carolina

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • SNOW
  • bowl
  • vanilla extract
  • sugar
  • milk
  1. Step 1

This is very simple recipe that when we as kids were growing up made in winter time back in North Carolina of all we couldn't wait for the snow! It was a fun time of sledding, making snowmen and then of course making our snow cream.

  2. Step 2

This is a guessing recipe because we always tasted to make sure it was perfect. First we got a big bowl of clean snow, added a cup of sugar and then tasted it to make sure it was just right. Then we added a dash of vanilla and stirred it all up.

  3. Step 3

We kept tasting it to be sweet enough if we needed more then we would add more sugar and also added a little milk sometimes making a vanilla milk shake. My brothers made chocolate snow cream with chocolate syrup but the vanilla snow cream is the best..taste like breyers vanilla bean.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't eat alot at one time...You still get the brain freeze.
  • We were told not to make snow cream out of the first snow..I think alot of chemicals was in the first snow. I just remember my parents saying it was not that clean yet.
