Step 1
Go to the resource links on this page, they will take you to the main pages of my top two recommended online game sites. They are chock full of online games.

Step 2
Go to the "Strategy Game" link, that's either going to be near the top, or more off the the right of the main page.

You should now see a bunch of games pop up. some are not made by professional companies. Some look pretty cheap in fact, but most of them, even the crappy ones, are pretty fun when you get down to the tactics involved.

Step 4
Try out "Tactics Arena" on addictinggames, it lets you play against real people. (It's kind of like Chess, but not anything like Chess at the same time.) Maybe if Chess were dungeons and dragons, and all the pieces had hit points. Anyways, All the games can be fun in their own way, check them out.
