How to Miter Cove Molding
Cove molding is one of the most versatile moldings sold today. It can be used in every room of your house and for many different applications, including flooring trim, ceiling trim, and even the trim around windows and doors. When installing cove moulding, you can create a miter corner two ways: you can miter the corner, or cope the corner. The application of the product will help to determine the corner made, but for most jobs, creating a miter corner is easier and less time consuming than coping the corner. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
The best practice is to cut the molding about a 1/2-inch long and make several more cuts until you reach the line. Make sure to purchase additional molding for mistakes and practice.
Make sure to practice with the saw as well if you're unfamiliar with a miter saw. Follow all safety tips for any power tool used. Miters may not be perfect if room or object is not square.
