1
Pull the drawer out of the cabinet frame. In order to get it completely out, you must either lower the drawer or raise it. This will allow the drawer to release from the slide. If you are just replacing the drawer then continue to Step 5. If new slides came with the new drawer, however, then you will want to remove the old slides from inside the cabinet frame and replace them with the new ones.

2
Unscrew all screws and remove all metal staples and the slide will come right off. The new slides will go in the same location as the old slides, usually at the bottom of the front drawer frame. Make sure that the back end of the slide measures as far from the top of the frame as the front does. This will ensure that the drawer will slide in and out correctly.

3
Mark your new holes and drill a small hole to ensure that you will not splinter or crack the wood frame. Have a helper hold the slides when starting to mark and drill the holes, if necessary.

4
Screw in the screws that came with the new kit. Make sure that they are snug, because if they are loose your drawer could eventually get caught on them. Attach the slides for the drawer to the bottom of the cabinet drawer. Do this to both sides of the drawer. The wheel or rectangular place will be facing outward.

5
Place the cabinet drawer at a 45-degree angle and insert it back into the drawer.
