How to Reset Your PayPal Activity Log

Users of the online PayPal money transferring service are provided with an "activity log" by the company. This activity log is present on any main account page and keeps a detailed list of recent transactions, including the date the transaction occurred, where money came from and where money went. If you use PayPal frequently your activity log can quickly become cluttered. Resetting your PayPal activity log can be done in just a few seconds.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to paypal.com and log in to your PayPal account. Type your email address into the appropriately labeled box and your account password into the box right below it. Click the orange "Log In" button to open your account.

    • 2

Locate your PayPal activity log toward the center of your main account page under the heading "My Recent Activity."

    • 3

Check the box next to all of the listings that you want to clear from your activity log. If you have a lot of transactions, check the box next to the "Date" column to select them all at the same time.

    • 4

Click on the "Archive" button. This will clear all of the checked entries from your activity log, effectively resetting it. Your activity log will now be completely clear of data.
