1
Arrange the roses, greenery and baby's breath in your hand. Play with the arrangement until you get it where it looks pretty to you. Part of the enjoyment of the gift to the recipient will be in the knowledge that you took your time and imagination in making the arrangement for her.
-
2
Hold your arrangement in one hand with the stems under water. Cut the ends of the stems about 1/4 inch from the ends and then lay your arrangement on a flat surface.

3
Wrap each stem end with half of a paper towel you have dampened in a glass of water. Secure the paper towel with a rubber band. This step will help the roses stay fresher longer.
-
4
Pick up the arrangement and make any final adjustments you feel it needs. Wrap a rubber band around the stems to hold them in place. Wrap clear plastic wrap around the stem end and secure with a rubber band to keep the damp paper towels from getting the tissue paper damp.
-
5
Lay your tissue paper on the flat surface with the piece you want on the outside on the bottom. Lay each sheet at an angle to the one before it, when you are finished it should look like a multi-pointed star.
-
6
Lay your arrangement in the middle of the tissue paper leaving approximately 1/3 of the paper below the bottom of the stems. Fold the bottom up over the stems and wrap the sides of the tissue paper around the roses. Secure this with tape or a rubber band.
-
7
Take the cellophane sheet and wrap it around the entire arrangement. Secure with tape.
-
8
Wrap the ribbon around the arrangement and secure end with tape. Place the bow over the tape to hide it.
-
9
Write a message on the card and tuck it inside the arrangement.
