How to Burn a DVD After Decrypting
Decrypting a DVD will leave you with several different files, all with confusing file names. Attempting to burn these files directly to a DVD will leave you with a disc that will not play in a set-top DVD player. With DVD authoring software, you can convert these files into a usable DVD.

1
Open your DVD authoring software. Nero Burning ROM was used for this article. Other programs may have features or menu selections that differ slightly from those described here. When you open Nero Burning ROM, the "New Compilation" window will appear.
-
2
Use the drop down menu on the left side of the screen to select "DVD." Below the drop down menu, find "DVD-Video." Click it, and click "New." This will bring you to the main window for authoring your DVD.

3
Locate the "VIDEO_TS" folder on the left side of the screen. Select all of the files produced by DVD Decrypter. These files will have names starting with "VTS" and "Video_ts". Drag all files into the "VIDEO_TS" folder. None of the files need to go into the AUDIO_TS folder.
-
4
Insert a blank DVD into your computer. Click the Burn icon at the top of the screen. The icon looks like a CD with a lit match held over it. This will bring up the "Burn Compilation" window.
-
5
Ensure that the "Write" box is checked. All other boxes can remain unchecked. Nero will automatically detect the maximum write speed supported by your DVD burner and the blank DVD that is inserted. If you have ever experienced problems burning DVDs on your computer, use the "Write Speed" drop down menu to choose a lower speed than what is displayed. Click the "Burn" button. After a few minutes, your DVD will be finished and ready to be played in a set-top DVD player.
