Treat tough stains with the pre-treating product of personal choice. Some require waiting and others allow for immediate laundering. Follow the label directions on the product.

Load washer with the items needing bleached. Set the washer on "hot" for whites and "warm" for colored clothes. Add the normal amount of standard laundry detergent and begin the wash cycle.

Mix ¼ of a cup of powdered oxygen bleach product with 2 cups of hot water. The hot water will help the oxygen bleach dissolve. The warmer the water is, the better the product works. Oxygen bleach products are available in most home improvement centers and stores like Wal-Mart.

Run the load of clothes through a complete rinse cycle. Dry the clothes as normal.
