How to Reverse Gray Hair
Everyone begins to have graying hair at some point in their lives, and this can depend upon a number of factors, including age and genetics. Your hair begins to turn gray when your hair follicles stop making melanin. When this happens, then there is no pigment for your hair, and instead of your hair retaining its normal color, it comes out gray. While you cannot actually reverse the graying of your hair, there are things you can do to slow down the process, or to hide it. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need

Hair Dye Method
-
1
Purchase a box of hair dye in your normal hair color, or as close to your normal hair color as you can find.
-
2
Do an allergy test. You can do this by mixing about one tsp. of all the ingredients you will be putting on your hair to dye it. Slather this mixture on the inside of your arm and cover it with a band aid. If at the end of 48 hours you haven't had an allergic reaction, such as the skin getting itchy or hives popping up, then you are not allergic to your hair dye.

3
Do a strand test. Using the same amount of ingredients you would be using to dye your hair, saturate a strand or two of your hair with the hair dye. Leave it on your hair for the amount of time the directions call for, then wash your hair. If the strands you dyed turned blue or green, or some color other than what you wanted, purchase another brand of hair dye and start over. If the strands are the right color, then proceed with dying the rest of your hair.

4
Dye your hair according to the directions on the hair dye box. Your gray hair should now be colored in its original color.
Indian Gooseberry Method
-
5
Purchase dry Indian gooseberry, and coconut oil.
-
6
Put four cups of coconut oil in a pan, then add a few pieces of Indian gooseberry. Boil this mixture until the Indian gooseberry looks like pieces of charred material.
-
7
Remove the pieces of charred Indian gooseberry.
-
8
Allow the coconut oil to cool until it is warm, then pour it into a clean plastic bottle with a lid.
-
9
Massage the coconut oil into your scalp while it is warm. Leave the coconut oil on your scalp for one hour before rinsing it off. This will help to nourish your hair and hair follicles, as well as restore your hair to its natural color.

Tips & Warnings
If you've already tried coloring your hair and it didn't come out right, have it done the second time at a salon. Whenever you use your Indian gooseberry coconut oil, warm it up a bit first, as it works better when slightly warm.
When choosing a hair color, make sure you know whether you have warm or cool eyes, hair and skin tones, otherwise your dye job will look terrible.
