Wall-mounted light timers replace the standard switch that is used to operate lights. These devices, including the Intermatic wall switch timer, can be used for many purposes, but the most common use is for security when no one is at home. Instead of wasting electricity by turning on the lights before you leave for the day, the Intermatic wall timers can be set to turn your lights on and off at specific times.
