6. The Basset Hound has a gentle, mild temperament and never has timidness or aggressive traits. This is an extremely devoted dog to pet owners. Children of any age will have a good playmate with this dog.

7. The lifespan of the Basset Hound dog will be 10 to 12 years of contentment and sharing love with family.
