The first step is to go to a site like Stock.XCHNG and sign up for an account. This allows you to browse through thousands of photos and pictures, as well as other media, that is available for you to use in you site, blog, or eHow article.

Next, browse through the images for something that is of use to you. Sometimes the search doesn't help all that much so it is better if you can be creative about your search. For example, searching for campus instead of college helped me find a great shot that met my needs. When you find one you like, press the download key.

Step 3
Finally, review the "uses" information to make sure you know if you need special permission from the artist, and how to give credit correctly. Usually it will say "Standard Restrictions" which means you can use it on your blog or eHow article.

on 11/12/2009 Thanks! I've never heard of Stock.XCHNG. I usually use my own photos on my blog but sometimes I don't have pictures that relate to my articles.
