How to Delete Cookie-Free Bearshare

According to CNET, "Bearshare is a file-sharing program that lets you find, download, share and publish audio and video files." This peer-to-peer file-sharing program claims to offer a reliable search engine and powerful tools to share. There are three versions of Bearshare that users can download: free, lite and pro. The lite and pro versions have much more accessibility than the free version, and also they contain less malware. It is not difficult to delete the cookie-free Bearshare program from either a PC or a Mac.

Instructions

1. Uninstall cookie-free Bearshare from a PC's "Control Panel." Click "Start" in the bottom left hand corner on the desktop of your computer.

2. Press "Control Panel." Click the icon that reads "Add or Remove Programs." Scroll down until you see the Bearshare program. Press the "Uninstall" button.

3. Go to the "My Computer" folder on your desktop. "Explore" the drive that stores hard drive information. Open up the program files.

4. Scroll down until you see the Bearshare folder. Right click the folder. Press "Delete."

5. Uninstall cookie-free Bearshare from a Macintosh hard drive. Open "Macintosh HD" and click on the icon that reads "Applications."

6. Scroll down until you find the cookie-free Bearshare application. Click the "move to trash" button.
