How to Clean a Revere Ware Tea Kettle

Things You'll Need

• Distilled water
• White vinegar
• Clean soft cloth or sponge
• Dish soap

Instructions

1. Fill the tea kettle with equal parts of distilled water and white vinegar; be careful not to overfill it.

2. Place the tea kettle on the stove top and turn the burner on medium high.

3. Bring the tea kettle to a simmer and allow it to sit on the heat for 10 to 15 minutes.

4. Remove the tea kettle from the heat and pour out the contents.

5. Wash the tea kettle inside and out with warm soapy water and a soft clean cloth or sponge.

6. Rinse the tea kettle thoroughly to remove any residual soap.

7. Set the tea kettle upside down in a dish drainer with the lid off to help drain and dry out any excess moisture from inside the kettle.
