If you've ever wanted to send flowers but didn't have the money or the time, or wanted to send a cute message to a workmate or classmate, you can send a virtual bouquet that will show up in your friend's email inbox, mobile phone or on a social networking site such as Facebook. Some virtual bouquet sites allow you to choose the flowers for your bouquet and even pick out accessories.

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Recipient's contact information
  1. Step 1

Decide whether you want to send your virtual bouquet to an email inbox, mobile phone or social networking site. Unless you know that the message recipient has a phone that will properly display the bouquet, it's best to send the virtual bouquet through email or to a social networking page.

  2. Step 2

Find a virtual bouquet site that provides the services you need. Some popular choices are listed in the Resources section.

  3. Step 3

Create your virtual bouquet. Some sites come with a variety of pre-photographed bouquets. Others let you design your own bouquet by clicking on and dragging preselected flower types. You may also be able to write a short message on a virtual gift card.

  4. Step 4

Enter the required information to send the bouquet. Some sites will simply request your email and the recipient's email. Others may want your friend's phone number or access to your Facebook account.

  5. Step 5

    Send your virtual bouquet.
