How to Get the Best Sound From a Sub Box
Most home audio systems have a sub box or enclosure for a subwoofer that is an important part of any home theater system. Getting the best sound from your sub box will depend on where you place it in the room and the adjustment settings that are used. However, you will probably have a few restrictions or considerations to think about when deciding where to place your sub box.

Place the sub box in a corner to send the sound into the room evenly. If a corner is not an option, place the sub box along a wall.

Use more than one sub box for your home theater system. When two sub boxes are used, you can place one on an opposite wall to help spread out the sound.

Place the subwoofer as close to the front speakers as you can for the proper loudness. However, you do not want to place the sub box behind the front speakers. The sub box tends to use some of the same frequencies as the front speakers, and this can create an overlap zone.
