One particularly trendy graphic customization is your own online neon sign, which displays the text of your choosing in neon lettering on your page. Thanks to numerous profile-customization websites offered on the Internet to help users customize their profiles, you can easily make neon signs online for free.

Things You'll Need:

  • Online neon-sign generator
  1. Step 1

    Navigate to a website that offers a neon-sign generator, such as Free MySpace Layouts (http://freemyspacelayouts.com.au/Neon_sign.html).

  2. Step 2

    Input the text you would like your neon sign to display in the textbox that states "Your Text Here."

  3. Step 3

    Click on the "Glow Color" color selector in the top left corner of the neon-sign generator to select the color you would like your neon sign to glow.

  4. Step 4

    Click on "Preview" to preview how your neon sign will appear.

  5. Step 5

    Click on "Generate and Copy Code" once you are satisfied with your results to copy the code to your clipboard for transfer to a social networking website.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some websites offer additional features, such as the option to make your neon sign blink.
  • Most websites do not offer the option to download your neon sign (you'll only get the HTML code to embed into a website).
