Have you ever sent a friend request to someone on Face and wanted to cancel it? but there's a simple way to do it. Just follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Privacy Settings
    Privacy Settings

    Log in to your Facebook account. Go to "Settings" then "Privacy Settings" in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

  2. Step 2
    Block People
    Block People

    Go to the section marked “Block People” at the bottom of the page.

    If you block someone on Facebook, they will not be able to find you in a Facebook search, interact with you through Facebook channels, or see your profile. Any Facebook ties you currently have with a person you block will be broken.

  3. Step 3

    A small window will open showing you a list of people with the same name or variations of the recipient's name. Find the person from the list and click the button “Block.”

  4. Step 4

    Done

    Congratulations. The recipient of the friend request is now blocked. They will not see your friend request. Now you can unblock the recipient. They will not see the request and normal interaction with this person on Facebook is restored.
