Things You'll Need:
- Aquatic frogs
- Good sized aquarium (already set up)
- Fish net
-
Step 1
When purchasing your aquatic frogs, the pet store staff most likely will put the frogs in a plastic bag for you to bring back home with you. When you get home, let the plastic bag float in the frog aquarium for 15 minutes. Letting the bag float in the aquarium will help the aquatic frogs to adjust to the temperature in the water.
-
Step 2
After 15 minutes, open the plastic bag slightly, being careful not to let any water from the bag spill out into the frog aquarium. Using a cup, scoop some water from the aquarium and pour it into the plastic bag. Let the bag containing the aquatic frogs sit for another 10 minutes. It might help to hold the plastic bag or keep the bag upright so that water doesn't spill into the frog aquarium.
-
Step 3
Once the time's up, take a fish net (preferably a fish net with soft netting) and gently scoop up the aquatic frogs. Put the net into the frog aquarium water and let the aquatic frogs swim into the tank. Now you can sit back and watch your frogs swim gracefully in their new home!
