Step 1
Purchase streamers and balloons in your school colors. Use a combination of balloon colors as centerpieces. If you are utilizing a gym, it will be difficult to hang streamers from the ceiling. Instead it’s a good idea to use the walls. You can attach balloons to the walls as well. Purchase sparkly confetti in your color scheme and sprinkle it all over your tables.

Step 2
Order Mardi Gras beads also in your school colors from Oriental Trading Company and spread them around your tables. Encourage your classmates to wear the beads!

Step 3
In a corner, create a table display including a nicely framed graduation picture. Make shadow boxes including your school uniform, athletic wear, graduation programs and other interesting memorabilia. Shadow boxes can be purchased at Ikea or at most craft stores.

Purchase a few cardboard poster displays at Office Max for about $10 each and generously fill them with old photographs. Scotch makes an excellent product that is a double stick tape which is also removable, so that precious photos are never destroyed. Label your poster boards with captions like: school show, field trip, teachers, graduation, etc.
