Things You'll Need:
- a blog,and an internet connection
-
Step 1
In this article, you're going to learn how to make the most of your blog's existing traffic to put extra dollars in your pocket. If you get at least moderate amounts of traffic, at least 5,000 visitors a day or more to your blog or website, you can make a pretty good lump some of money.
-
Step 2
The first thing you'll want to do is sign up with Google adsense,burstmedia.com,valueclickmedia.com,adsdaq.com,adify.com,chitika.com,infolinks.com,chango.co m,tribalfusion.com,commissionjunction.com,amazon.com affiliate program, picadmedia.comand whoever else you can find. The idea is to use as many ad networks on your blog as possible so you can create multiple streams of income that can add up to at least a couple $1,000 a month in revenue. Don't just limit yourself to one or a few networks. Sign up with all of them, and find a way to fit them all into your site to generate multiple sources of income.
-
Step 3
After you get signed up with all of them and approved, you'll want to place the highest paying banners as high up on your blog as possible for maximum earnings. I currently use Google adsense at the top left side of my blog because it gets a lot of clicks, which increase my earnings. Then I use sky scraper banners from other networks that pay o a cpm basis. Then you can use networks like chitika, infolinks, and chango,to made money off your text. They highlight different words of your text, and when people scroll over it, it brings up an ad. If the people click on it, you made money. It's highly effective, and yields me a lot of earnings.
-
Step 4
Next you can use a network like picadmedia to make money off any pictures you display. They give you a code tat simply places ads within your pictures. If someone decides to scroll over one of your pictures, it brings up an ad. If they click on it, you get paid a certain amount of money.
-
Step 5
Fourth, you can make money with affiliate programs. A method that has been highly effective for me, is to place a small text link to the affiliate site at the bottom of each blog posts because people read those and click on them after reading it, and it's highly effective, especially when you use sites like amazon's affiliate program, and any other affiliate program that might be specific to whatever niche you write about.
-
Step 6
Finally, just remember the key to generating substantial revenue from your blog,is to create as many revenue streams as you possibly can. They will add up, and make you a tone of money. Just think about it. If you could make $10 a day from 10 different networks, that would equal $100 a day, which would equal $3,000 a month. You've got to think of it like that. You want to multiply, and think about it over a longer term, instead of always going for the big score. It's good if you can get a big paying score for your blog, but rest assured, the multiple networks route will always be more consistent.
