However, if you are planning on remodeling your kitchen, you will save a lot of money by mounting your kitchen cabinets yourself. You navigate your way through your kitchen project.
Things You'll Need

Hanging Wall Cabinets
Measure from the floor up. When you measure and hang your wall cabinets you will want to leave enough space for you base cabinets, countertops and an appropriate backsplash. Typically this is 54 inches.
Mark a line on the wall where your bottom cabinets should end, after the measuring has been completed. Be sure to use a level so your cabinets are hung perfectly. Use a stud finder to find the studs and mark where they are so you know where to drill. Wall cabinets are too heavy to mount without a stud.
Install a ledger board under your marked line. A ledger board is a board that will help to hold the wall cabinets as you install them. Use the stud lines you have marked to make sure the board is hung securely. This board will be temporary and will be removed after the cabinets are securely hung.
Remove all of the doors of the cabinet for an easier installation. You may have to use shims to make the cabinet level. Be sure to use your level when hanging. Once the cabinet is securely in place you can replace the doors.
