Allure flooring is a type of vinyl flooring that has the appearance of real wood without the expense. The flooring is easy to maintain, comes in a variety of finishes and is easy to install without the use of glue. When cleaning Allure flooring, you can't use harsh chemicals. Cleaning it requires only a broom and a mop.
Things You'll Need
- Broom or stick-broom vacuum
- Measuring cup
- Warm water
- Cleaner designed for Allure flooring
Sweep or use a stick-broom vacuum to remove any dust, dirt or debris from your Allure flooring. Do not use a vacuum with a beater brush, because it will scratch your flooring.
Wet a mop with 1 cup warm water.
Wring out the mop completely. The mop should be damp, not dripping wet.
Mop up any spots on your Allure flooring gently.
Apply a cleaner designed for Allure flooring---such as Allure Resilient Vinyl Floor Cleaner And Polish, Refresher Soft Satin---according to instructions on the container to remove any spots on your flooring that a damp mop won't remove.
Let the floor dry completely before walking or placing furniture on the surface.
Tips & Warnings
- Never use an abrasive cleaner on your Allure flooring. Damage may occur and void any warranty present.
