Instructions

    • 1

Divide the ground beef into 4 sections, and mix it with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    • 2

Roll the ground beef in your hands to make a circle shape. Make sure that the patty is about 1/2 inch to 1 inch high to obtain a juicy, thick flavor. Repeat this step for the additional three sections.

    • 3

Place all four patties into the large skillet. Allow the patties to cook on both sides for 2 to 3 minutes per side, but continue to flip until meat is brown. Cut the meat in the middle to insure the meat is brown inside and fully cooked.

    • 4

When the meat is almost done, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty so that the cheese will melt from the heat in the skillet.

    • 5

Place the two halves of a hamburger bun in the toaster for 30 seconds. Repeat this steps for the other 3 buns, and then spread a small amount of butter onto each of the buns to help extract some of the natural flavors of the bread.

    • 6

Place the cheese and meat patty onto the bun. Add toppings like lettuce, tomato and mustard as desired and serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add additional toppings as you desire. The bread does not have to be toasted or buttered, but it does add flavor. Use other seasonings besides salt and pepper to bring out the flavor in the meat.
