How to Repair or Fix Windows Registry

A blue screen on your computer is usually a sign that something is seriously wrong with the machine. Most blue screens are attributed to registry errors. You can fix Windows registry errors and issues with a free registry cleaner.

• Computer
• Internet
• Basic PC skills
• WinASO Registry Optimizer

Instructions

1. Download and install registry-cleaning software, such as Free Window Registry Repair, WinASO Registry Optimizer or Advanced System Optimizer.

2. Run the installer with the default options.

3. Click to select the areas to be scanned. Select only the first check box; when that section is complete, then select the next. When each scan is done, remove all errors.

4. Do one more scan with all boxes selected and remove any errors that remain.
