1
Purchase a water bottle with a removable plastic cap on the base. Look for a water bottle with a base without drain holes that would leak juice. Poland Spring Water bottles have a nice large plastic base cap that will accommodate even larger citrus like big oranges and grapefruit.
-
2
Pour all the water out of the bottle and use a screwdriver to detach the base cap from the bottom. Be careful not to damage the sides of the base cap as you insert the screwdriver between the bottle and the base to pry them apart. Look into the crack under good light and try to apply pressure at the points where you see clear glue holding the two pieces together.

Once the two pieces are separated, use the hot tip of the hot-glue gun to melt and remove any remaining adhesive. Left alone these chunks of glue may break off while you are using your squeezer and end up in a glass of juice.
-
4
Thoroughly wash your base cap with dish soap and water to clean it before it comes in contact with the juice that you will be consuming raw. Use hot water and scrub the cap inside and out or run it through a dishwasher cycle on the upper rack.
-
5
Place your orange juice squeezer flat side down on a stable surface and force half of an orange onto the raised nob in the center as you twist the citrus. Continue until you have all the juice and then pour the juice into a glass by pinching the side of the juicer to form a corner for easy pouring.

Tips & Warnings
Add a way to strain seeds when pouring juice from your reamer by using the hot tip of your glue gun to poke a few small holes in the upper lip of the base cap. This will allow juice to pass through and keep the seeds behind in the orange squeezer for later disposal.
Some base caps may have sharp edges that can cut your fingers. Smooth these edges by running the hot tip of the glue gun over the rim, causing it to melt a little and round over.
