      Connect the laptop to Xbox 360 using an Ethernet cord. Turn both devices on.

      Using your PC, click "Start," "Settings," "Network Connections."

      Wait for your PC to and Xbox 360 to fully recognize the local area network connection. You'll know the two are properly connected when the "LAN" connections reads "Connected."
