How to Reuse Hotel Soap

Hotel soaps are small, thin bars that can be found in the guest rooms. They're designed to be used for hand washing or for taking a quick shower. Because hotel soaps are so small and are awkward to handle, guests usually don't use them. They use their own full-sized soaps. Since hotel soaps are complimentary, guests often toss them into their suitcases when they check-out. Besides washing, there are better ways to reuse hotel soap at home. Does this Spark an idea?

Make liquid hand soap from hotel soap. Break several bars up into small pieces until you have about two cups. Place the soap in a blender. Add a couple teaspoons of water. Blend the soap and water until it becomes smooth and creamy. Add more water, if needed, to make a liquid hand soap.

Open the wraps on hotel soap and reuse them as sachets. Place one or two opened bars in a drawer with your clothes. The soap will give your clothes a clean, fresh scent.
