How to Make Your Own Ninja Village
Ninja villages were once home to deadly Japanese spies and assassins. Today, ninjas are mostly martial artists who train in ninjitsu for fun, exercise and self-defense. Spending time in a ninja village can be a fun retreat from the day-to-day monotony of living in a city of suburb. However, given the potentially dangerous nature of ninja training, special precautions should be taken to prevent injury and to maximize the ease of access that fellow ninjas have to health care.

1
Construct lodging for the ninja warriors. Japanese platform beds are closer to the ground and are made out of straw that is tightly woven together. Be sure to include a location where the ninjas can take off their shoes and hang up their ninja gear. In Japanese culture, walking through the house with shoes or bare feet is considered impolite. Include slippers for each ninja and also for guests.

2
Determine the source of food. Ninja villages can be self-sufficient with farmland that supplements the food acquired through hunting. Check up with the local hunting laws regarding hunting with shurikens. Ninja villages can also hire food distributors to bring food to the village on a regular basis. In this case, be sure to keep a mess hall with refrigeration and cooking supplies. Hiring a full-time chef is recommended.

3
Construct a training area that includes salmon ladders, cliff hangers, spider climbs, rumbling dice and jumping spiders. These obstacles help keep the ninjas in good physical condition and prepare them for missions that require a good deal of climbing. Include bulls eye targets for shurikens-throwing practice. Include plenty of space for practicing combat.

4
Build wooden walls surrounding the ninja village with a gate where visitors can sign in. Construct lookout towers that will be on the lookout for intruders and spies who might try to enter the ninja village unannounced. Instruct them to call the police if anyone attempts to enter the gate without identifying themselves.
-
5
Include a storehouse that holds provisions, supplies and ninja weapons. Be sure to include a radio and phone that can be used to contact the outside in case there is an emergency or someone falls ill. If the ninja village has enough income, consider hiring a full-time nurse.
