How to Block Your Phone Number From Appearing on Someone's Caller ID

When you call a home or cell phone that has caller identification, or "caller ID", enabled, your phone number (and possibly your name) will be revealed to the person receiving the call. If you wish to keep your phone number private when placing a call, you can do so without contacting your phone company. You can block your phone number by knowing the proper code to enter before placing your call.
