Many men choose to grow out their beards, mustaches or sideburns, but the pace at which the facial hair grows differs for each man. There are some key tips to keep in mind when trying to grow out your sideburns quickly.

Things You'll Need:

  • Sideburns trimmers
  • Various vitamins and minerals
  • Steam and exfoliation products or techniques
  • Relaxation methods
  • Adequate sleep
  1. Step 1

Let your sideburns grow without any trimming for at least four to five weeks. This is to make it grow completely out so you can see how it shapes itself and the pace it grows.

  2. Step 2

Incorporate more vitamins and minerals into your diet--that encourages hair growth. These include vitamins such as B3, 5, 12; vitamin A, C, E and Biotin. It depends on your size and age on how much you should take of each vitamin.

  3. Step 3

Get an adequate amount of sleep, because during sleep, your body uses this time to restore and grow. Without enough sleep, your hair growth rate will be weaker and much slower. Most people need between seven to nine hours of sleep each night. Also, if you have a stressful lifestyle or job you may want to start doing meditation or other relaxation methods like yoga, exercise or deep breathing classes. Stress slows hair growth and also makes it unhealthy and brittle.

  4. Step 4

Exfoliate your skin, including around your sideburns area, about once a week. Steam and exfoliation opens the skin pores, removes dead skin cells and keeps hair follicles clear. Doing this will ensure that your hair will grow better and you will have less a chance of ingrown hairs.
