How to Clean Rust Stains From Toilet Bowls
Unsightly rust stains in the toilet bowl can greatly distract from the cosmetic appeal of your bathroom. Minerals in tap water are deposited in your toilet and contribute to forming ugly rust stains. Many products on the market, such as bleach- or vinegar-based cleaners and drop-in tablets, fall short when it comes to removing these tough stains. With some inexpensive items and a little effort, though, you can restore your toilet bowl to its original sparkling appearance. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
"The Works" is also a great product for removing rust stains (see Resources). It should be used cautiously as it contains harsh chemicals.
Do not use chlorine on rust as it actually helps to set the stains.
