How to Open a Bank Account Online With bad Credit
It is almost a necessity to have a checking account these days. You need one to pay bills, write checks, and use a debit card. Some of us have made financial mistakes in the past that have run our credit into the ground. Banks often check credit reports to determine if they want to take the risk of allowing someone to open a checking account. Fortunately, bad credit does not mean you cannot get a checking account online.

1
Go to one of your local banks' websites. Bank of America, Fifth Third, and Chase are just a few examples of some bigger named banks that allow you to open checking accounts online. You may be surprised at the number of banks that do not run credit reports to open checking accounts.
-
2
Apply to reputable banks that offer free checking. If you are denied a checking account online, try emailing the bank's customer service department or even calling them to see if they can work something out to open an account for you.

3
Provide the bank you are applying to with your personal and contact information on the online form. You will need to fill in information such as your address, Social Security number, employers name, and your source of income (employment income, unemployment income, inheritance). You will also need to fill in the amount you will use to open the account. Banks vary in the amount required to open a checking account but a standard amount is $100 or more. Most banks also give you an instant approval or denial when you attempt to open a checking account online.

Visit www.newbankaccount.net only if you absolutely cannot get a checking account online with a more reputable bank. This website takes your personal information and matches you with a bank that will accept you. You are pretty much guaranteed a checking account, but not without fees associated with it.
