How to Convert .Rm to AVI Freeware
Real Media's .rm format was one of the first streaming video and audio technologies that took the web by storm. The Real format takes audio and video data and, using a special codec (compression/decompression) scheme, makes it compact for web broadcasting. As with a TV or radio program, sometimes you want to keep a copy of some of these broadcasts. Using freeware available on the web, it takes only a few steps to convert these .rm files to AVI so you can watch or listen to them in your Windows Media Player.
