Spice up your iPod with digital pictures from your computer. With the ability to store thousands of pictures on even the smallest capacities of iPod varieties, you can store more than just music on your iPod. With the help of the free Apple iTunes software, you can sync up your iPod with your computer and transfer your favorite photo albums to your iPod.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Create a new folder on your desktop. Compile the file you wish to copy to your iPod in the newly created folder. If you don't have iTunes installed yet, install the latest version of it before continuing (see Resources).

  2. Step 2

Connect your iPod to your computer with its USB cable--allow it a few seconds to sync with the iTunes application.

  3. Step 3

Navigate over to the "Library" heading located on the left side of the iTunes menu and click on the iPod icon from the "Devices" sub-heading.

  4. Step 4

Click on the tab labeled "Photos" located near the top right of the iTunes menu.

  5. Step 5

Click on the button next to the heading "Sync photos from:" and then select "Choose folder" from the drop-down menu that appears. Locate the folder containing the pictures you wish to sync in the window below. Click on the "Apply" button to begin adding the photos to your iPod.
