How to Teach Your Rock Tricks

Have trouble teaching your pet rock new tricks, or don't know what to teach it? Get help with this helpful article!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Your pet rock

1. Sit your rock down and explain to him that you will be teaching him tricks. If he doesn't respond you'll know that he is eager to do it.
   Here are the guides to teaching him three new tricks:

2. Sit
   
   First, say 'sit.' Then put him in the sit position. If he stays in a sit position, praise him and repeat these actions until your sure he has learned how to 'sit.'

3. Roll Over
   
   First, nudge your rock and he will turn over, then praise him and nudge him again and he will do the trick again, and repeat until your satisfied and your sure he can 'roll over'.

4. Play Dead
   
   First, tell your rock to 'play dead' and sit him down.
   If he stays still, reward him. Repeat until your satisfied with his 'play dead' trick.

Tips & Warnings

• Do something special with him after he has learned these tricks.
• Never get frustrated and throw your rock, it could hurt him, any object around, any glass windows, and other people.
