Instructions
  1. Step 1

DEDUCTIBLE: One way to get health insurance for less is by getting a high deductible. Consider the options. One of the cheaper health insurance plans available is a high deductible policy also known as a Drastic Coverage plan. Members enrolled in this plan will cover all medical expenses up to a yearly deductible. For instance, a yearly deductible may be $1000 per person. This means you will have to pay the first $1000 of your medical bills in a year and then insurance benefits begin once the deductible is met.

  2. Step 2

CHECK ON DISCOUNTS: Another way to get health insurance for less is by simply getting discounts on your plan. If you check with your employer you may be eligible for some discounts in your plan if you are willing to join a gym or get regular health screenings. If more people were healthier, health insurance costs would go down, so work on becoming healthier.

  3. Step 3

RESEARCH: Do your research to get health insurance for less. Get your personal information together and start searching online. Apply for health insurance plans online to research offers from different health insurance companies. This will allow you to compare plans and costs very easily by comparison.
