Things You'll Need:
- New Jogging Shoes
- Petroleum Jelly
-
Step 1
Check out the soles of your current jogging shoes. Look and see if the heel of the shoe is worn in one spot more than another. If you are someone who rolls their feet outwards the outer edge of the shoe will be worn more than the inside. If you are someone who rolls their feet inwards the sole of the shoe will be more worn on the inside heel.
-
Step 2
Head to any sports store that sells jogging shoes. Bring your old shoes with you. Show the salesperson your old shoes and point out that they are worn more on the inside or outside. They should be able to help find you a shoe that will correct your jog and make everything more comfortable.
-
Step 3
If you are having a problem with chafing or blistering try using petroleum jelly. Rub some petroleum jelly on or between the toes that usually become blistered. If you experience chafing on your inner thighs or nipples, rub some petroleum jelly on them as well. This will decrease friction between your clothes and body parts, which causes that uncomfortable feeling.
