Things You'll Need:
- A casserole dish
- 8 oz. of soft cream cheese
- hot sauce
- ranch or blue cheese dressing
- crumbled blue cheese
- finely shredded mozzarella cheese (or a mix of shredded mexican cheese)
-
Step 1
Empty an 8 oz container of soft cream cheese into your casserole dish. Stir with a fork until smooth.
-
Step 2
Add 1/2 cup of hot sauce (preferrably Texas Pete). This will determine your heat. Add less or more for mild to very hot dip!
-
Step 3
Add 1/2 cup of ranch or blue cheese dressing. I prefer ranch. Adding the blue cheese crumbles later gives it that hint of a tangy flavor without over doing it with the blue cheese dressing. However, either dressing will still produce a wonderful dip!
-
Step 4
Add 1/2 cup of blue cheese crumbles. You can add less or more to your taste. I stick with 1/2 cup and it seems to be the perfect amount.
-
Step 5
Once the above ingredients are stirred in, add two 9.5 oz cans of chicken. Make sure the chicken is shredded finely within the dip.
-
Step 6
Mix in 4 oz of shredded Mozarella cheese (or shredded Mexican cheese).
-
Step 7
Cook for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand for five minutes, then serve with chips or crackers.
