Instructions

    • 1

Break two eggs into a mixing bowl with water, salt and just a dash of black pepper. Stir these components together until properly mixed, making sure that the texture isn't frothy.

    • 2

Turn on the stove to medium to high heat. Place a pan over the heated stove and melt with the butter.

    • 3

Pour the egg and ingredient mixture into the heated pan once the butter stops foaming. Wait for this egg mixture to settle on the bottom of the pan.

    • 4

Push the edges of the egg omelet inward with the spatula so that the uncooked eggs can heat up on the pan as the rest of the omelet sets. Continue pushing in the sides of the omelet until all parts of the egg mixture make contact with the pan.

    • 5

Remove the omelet from the pan when the egg mixture is still shiny in texture. This process should take no more than three to four minutes, therefore all of the cooking and pushing of the egg mixture is a quick process. Fold the omelet in half and place onto a plate for serving.
