A step by step guide to creating a shortcut to the 12 hive in sharepoint and MOSS 2007. This location is where all the tools for administering servers are kept by Microsoft.

The 12 Hive is the location where all the binaries, configuration files, web pages, web controls, features, site and page templates, help files and other related resources are kept.

Generally, the 12 Hive is located on the file system of each server where SharePoint is installed.
