Counting to 10 is one of the first things that a student of foreign languages should learn. In Spanish, it is quite easy as most of the words are easy to pronounce. Read on to find out more.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    The first number for one is:

    uno

    It is pronounced OOH-no.

    The "OOH" is capitalized because it is accented (meaning that it is pronounced more loudly than the "no".

  2. Step 2

    The number for two is:

    dos

    It is pronounced dohs.

  3. Step 3

    The number for three is:

    tres

    It is pronounced treyss.

  4. Step 4

    The number for four is:

    cuatro

    It is pronounced KWAH-troh.

  5. Step 5

    The number for five is:

    cinco

    It is pronounced SINK-oh.

  6. Step 6

    The number for six is:

    seis

    It is pronounced SEY-es.

  7. Step 7

    The number for seven is:

    siete

    It is pronounced si-ETT-eh.

  8. Step 8

    The number for eight is:

    ocho

    It is pronounced OCH-oh.

  9. Step 9

    The number for nine is:
