Being able to find the model number on a Ford tractor is important for various reasons. There are a score of series of Ford tractors and each series has their own features. Instructions

1. Check near the rear of the tractor and you will find the starter.

2. Find the flywheel housing on the right side of the tractor in back of the starter.

3. Locate the model number on the flywheel housing of the tractor.

4. Retrieve the model number of the Ford tractor from the owner's manual.

Tips & Warnings

• The model number may have rubbed off of older tractors. On older tractors, parts have often been replaced making it difficult to know if the original model number is still present.
