How to Create a Free Powerpoint
Spectacular board room PowerPoint presentations usually look really technical and expensive, because the quality exhibits a high level of professionalism. But what a lot of people do not know is that some of the best PowerPoint presentations are created with free software. Most of the software available for PowerPoint creation is user-friendly, so everyone can comprehend how to do it.

Set up a blank presentation document. Open the "Impress" application once the OpenOffice suite is installed. When the blank document settings open, click the radio button next to "Empty Presentation" if it is not already highlighted, and click "Next."

3
Choose your presentation's slide design, output medium and slide transitions. Select your slide design from the list that will be displayed. (A preview of the design will be on the right side of the screen.) Click "Slide" for the output medium. Choose a slide transition on the next screen. The slide transition is how your pages will change. Then click "Create."

4
Create your presentation. Click on the layout you desire in the right pane of the screen. The layout will appear over the slide design. This is how you will be able to add text to the slide. Click in the boxes that will be in the layout and begin typing your text. If you would like to add media such as images, animation, audio or video, scroll through the layout templates to find one that complements what you want to do for the slide. Use the same methods to add media as you would to add text.
-
5
Add new slides. Right-click over the slide in the left pane of the Impress application. Select the "New Slide" action, and a blank duplicate of the same slide design will appear below the first slide. Repeat the same action to add slides as needed.
-
6
Save your presentation to your hard drive. Click on the "File" tab at the top of the Impress application, and select the "Save As" action. Give your presentation a new name.
