How to Create Your Own Candy Bar Wrappers
Offer a sweet party favor to your guests that is personalized and created just for that special occasion. Decorate candy bar wrappers using any color or theme imaginable. Things You'll Need
- Candy bars with wrappers
- Ruler
- Decorative paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Word processing software
- White card stock
- Printer

Remove the outer wrapper from the candy bar and lay it flat on your workspace. Measure the width and height of the candy bar wrapper.

Use sharp scissors to cut a piece of decorative paper to match the measurements of the candy bar wrapper.

Wrap the decorative paper around the candy bar. Apply a line of glue on the inner edge of the wrapper and adhere the paper to the back of candy bar.

Lay the candy bar flat on your workspace with the front facing upward. Use the ruler to measure the front of the candy bar wrapper only. Do not include the sides or the back of the wrapper in the measurement.

Open a blank document in any word processing software, such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Works. Set the document size to "letter" size or 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches.

Click on table from the menu at the top of the page and select insert table. Choose one column and one row. Change the row height and the column width to match the measurements for the front of the candy bar wrapper.

Type the information you would like onto the table. To change the font, click on format and then select font from the menu bar at the top of the page for additional options. A pop up box will appear prompting you to choose the font style, color and size. Choose those that best match the decorative paper wrapper and then click OK.

Place the white card stock into the printer and print the candy bar label as directed by the manufacturer for the paper type. Use scissors to cut out around the table lines on the card stock. Use a glue stick to adhere the label to the front of the candy bar wrapper.
