How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Things You'll Need
- 2 cups peanut butter
- 4 cups confectioner's sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups crispy rice cereal
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- Cookie sheet
- Spoon
- Wax paper

Melt the peanut butter and butter together under low heat in a saucepan.

Mix together the sugar and rice cereal in a large bowl.

Pour the peanut butter and butter mixture over the sugar and rice mixture from step 3 and stir everything together to create the base for your balls.

Cover a cookie sheet in wax paper.

Use your hands to create small balls out of your peanut butter/rice cereal mixture and place them on the cookie sheet. Place them a few inches apart from each other.

Refrigerate the balls for several hours or overnight, until they become firm. The longer you refrigerate your balls, the easier they will be to work with later.

Melt the chocolate in a saucepan or double boiler. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate (using a spoon or tongs) and then place it back on the cookie sheet. Once all balls are dipped, put the sheet back in the fridge to chill again. When your balls are refrigerator temperature, they are ready to eat.
