How to Find the URL of a Song
URL or Uniform Resource Locator is the Web address for a site, post, image or file. Every file that is uploaded onto the Web has its own unique URL. The URL enables you to copy an link and send it to friends or bookmark it as a favorite. Songs that are uploaded onto the Web also have their own URL. By finding the Song's URL you will be able to save its location and share it with other people.

Go to a free direct download site such as MP3 Raid. Type the name of the song or artist into the top search bar. Right click on the song link and select "Copy Link Location." Paste it onto a document file to view the URL.

Go to a music streaming site such as Imeem. Type in the artist or song title into the search bar on the home page. Right click on the song link and select "Copy Link Location." Despite the fact that you must create an account in order to stream content, the membership is free and only takes a few minutes.

Click on a streamed song link from Imeem. Go to your browser's search bar and copy the URL. This is another way to view the URL besides copying and pasting the link location.

Go to a video streaming website such as YouTube. Type the artist or song name into the search bar and select the song video. Right click on the video link of the song and select "Copy Link Location."

Tips & Warnings
You are not able to view the URL of songs that have been downloaded onto your computer from a peer to peer file sharing programs or BitTorrent. Right clicking on the song link and selecting "Properties" will also display the URL in a separate window.
